The Multimedia Lab at Catapult Creative House provides students with access to the equipment and space needed to explore a myriad of media based projects. The lab houses equipment ranging from a vinyl plotter and inkjet printers to a tabletop photography studio. With access to the Multimedia Lab, students across campus will be able to collaborate with students in the Multimedia program to create: product photography and artwork; designing fliers, labels, and signage; social media and newsletter graphics; and t-shirt design.
The Multimedia Gallery Wall in Catapult Creative house is open to use by all students across campus as well for the use of students from other academic institutions for the purpose of displaying unique and experimental works of art. While we appreciate non-traditional works of art, we welcome all mediums for exhibition consideration. Application of work to be used shall be exhibited for 1-2 month periods. Application for group shows will not require artist statements, however proper representation of works by photograph are required. Please complete the application and return along with images by email to Multimedia Lab Coordinator Bradley Phillips at email@example.com.
Please note the Multimedia Lab screens applications for exhibition twice a semester on the last day of January and March for Spring semesters and additionally the last day of August and October for Fall semesters respectively.
The Multimedia Lab has two student interns that help collaborate with others throughout Catapult to develop and utilize the Multimedia Lab’s equipment. In addition the student interns direct, design, and install artwork for the Multimedia Lab Gallery.
